Uzoma Agba

Uzoma Agba has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of entrepreneurship and business mentoring.

Uzoma currently works as a Domain Expert at Carbon13 since April 2023.

In 2023, they also served as a Product Mentor at Founder Institute, where they helped founders in the cohort understand various topics related to entrepreneurship, such as human resources engagement and prototyping solutions.

Prior to that, in 2023, they were a FundingBox Ambassador at FundingBox, a Startup Mentor at Techstars, and a Growth Mentor at Google for Startups EU.

In 2021 and 2022, Uzoma worked at UpSkill Digital, where they served as a 1:1 Business Mentor and a Google Digital Skills Mentor.

Uzoma also worked as a Startup Advisor at Seedstars in 2021 and as a Business Sales Associate at Mashauri Limited from 2022 to 2023.

In 2022, they interned as a Product Management Intern at Aistetic.

Lastly, in 2022, Uzoma served as a Business Judge at Africa's Business Heroes, where they reviewed online pitch videos and pitch decks of African entrepreneurs to identify the top 50 heroes for the 2022 competition of the Jack Ma Foundation.

Uzoma Agba's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Biotechnology from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, which was obtained from 2011 to 2016. They also pursued a Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Hochschule Anhalt starting in 2021. Additionally, Uzoma obtained a Diploma in Digital Business Specialist from the American Internet Business School in 2019.

In terms of certifications, Uzoma completed the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Programme Digital from FATE Foundation in December 2019. They also obtained a Digital Marketing Course Level 1 certification from General Assembly in June 2018. Uzoma has additional certifications such as the Impact Project Certificate from the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), Certificate of Induction on the Developers and Netprenuership Fellowship Boot camp from Innovation Growth Hub, a Digital Business Specialist Diploma by Dr. Ope Banwo from the American Internet Business School, and Facebook Blueprint Grow Your Business in 30|60|90 days certification from Facebook. Additionally, they have acquired Google Digital Marketing Certificates in Online Marketing Fundamentals and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google.
