Ben Seegars has a diverse work experience. Ben started at Seegars Fence Company in 1999 as a Vice President and later became the President/CEO in January 2017. In these roles, Ben oversaw various aspects of the business, including purchasing, marketing planning, financial and operational analysis, and strategic planning. Their focus was on empowering the team to exceed customer expectations and maintaining the company's core values.
In 2011, Ben became the President of Southern Wildlife Company.
In 2012, they took on the role of Chairman at Wayne County Military Affairs Committee. Their responsibilities included advocating for policies, procedures, and infrastructure that support Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, as well as ensuring its long-term viability in the face of defense reductions. The committee comprised about 115 Chamber members who served as the primary civilian liaison between the base and the local community, the State of NC, and the Federal Government.
Ben Seegars earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the NC State Poole College of Management, where they attended from 1995 to 1999. During the same time period, they also pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from North Carolina State University. In 2011, Ben obtained additional certifications including a license as a NC General Contractor from the NC Licensing Board for General Contractors and certification as a Fence Professional from the American Fence Association.
