Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary

Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary, PharmD has an extensive work experience in the field of pharmacy. Dr. Shiri started their career in 2002 at Maccabi Health Care Services as a Clinical Pharmacist, where they laid the foundation for building a model for the role of clinical pharmacists in the organization. Dr. Shiri also initiated, built, and managed the first clinical pharmacist's research projects within Maccabi. In 2017, Dr. Alfandary became the Chief Clinical Pharmacist at Maccabi Healthcare Services, where they provided leadership and acted as the manager of the clinical pharmacy. Dr. Shiri also worked with pharmacological consultants to formulate drug treatment policies. In 2022, they joined Seegnal as the Vice President of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs, and later that year, they also became a Lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Shiri Guy Alfandary, PharmD, has an extensive education history in the field of pharmacy. Dr. Shiri obtained a Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 1999. Dr. Shiri then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Pharmacy from the same institution, completing their studies in 2002. Dr. Alfandary continued their academic journey and obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree with a specialization in Clinical Pharmacy in 2011, again from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

In addition to their academic achievements, Dr. Alfandary has also obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Dr. Shiri was granted a license to practice pharmacy in 2000, authorized by The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dr. Alfandary also received personal permission from the Ministry of Health Israel in 2018, allowing their to prescribe medications in their role as a clinical pharmacist. Dr. Shiri has further expanded their knowledge through courses such as opioids management and risk management and safety care in health systems, offered by the Ministry of Health Israel and the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, respectively. Furthermore, they obtained a certification in negotiation management skills from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2015.

Recently, in 2022, Dr. Alfandary acquired additional certifications, including a license to issue medical cannabis, granted by the Ministry of Health Israel, and completed an opioids management course offered by the same institution.
