Claudio Forner is an experienced professional in climate policy and environmental economics, currently serving as the Lead Climate Practice at SEEK Development since March 2024. Prior to this role, Forner held positions as Lead Climate Diplomacy and Multilateralism at the World Resources Institute from August 2022 to March 2024, where research was conducted to establish a program on multilateralis and climate diplomacy. Forner also worked as a Climate Change Specialist at The World Bank from September 2020 to August 2022 and as a Project Manager Team Lead at UNFCCC from January 2011 to August 2020. Forner holds a Master's degree in Environment and Development with a focus on Environmental Economics from The Australian National University (1998-1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (1990-1995).
