Allen Lin has a wealth of experience in sales and business development, with a career spanning over 20 years. Allen began their career in 1998 as an Assistant Account Executive at Wunderman, working on the SONY Notebooks team and assisting in the creation of print, email, online, and TV campaigns. In 1999, Allen moved to Actuate, where they were a Territory Sales Manager responsible for prospecting and closing deals in the financial sector. In 2004, Allen joined Infotrieve as Business Development Manager, establishing relationships and closing deals with companies in the mid to large cap healthcare sector. Allen then moved to Talisma in 2005 as a Regional Sales Manager for Knowledgebase, helping the company become a leader in the industry. In 2008, Allen joined EdgeCast (acquired by Verizon) as a Regional Sales Manager, helping the company become a leader in the Content Delivery Network space. In 2012, Allen founded Purpelo, a consultancy based company, where they advised early stage startup companies on sales, marketing, hiring, product, and pricing strategies. In 2015, they joined Friendbuy as a Director of Sales, closing deals with trending eCommerce brands mostly based in Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 2016, Allen joined Retention Science (acquired by Constant Contact) as a Director of Sales, leading a team of account managers and sales development reps to close deals with trending eCommerce brands across the nation. In 2018, Allen founded Cheeel, an eCommerce company that focused on selling holiday gifts. Allen was responsible for overseeing all customer acquisition, retention, and product supply sourcing. Finally, in 2022, Allen joined Ocavu as Director of Sales for the Web3 Team.
Allen Lin received their MBA in Finance from California State University, Northridge in 2008 and their B.S. in Management with a focus in Marketing from Binghamton University in 1998.
