Jorrit Schuurmans

Jorrit Schuurmans is a legal professional with extensive experience in compliance and operations within the financial sector. Currently serving as Legal Manager at Seenons since December 2021, Jorrit previously held significant roles at bunq, including Head of Activation and Head of Onboarding and Compliance Operations, where responsibilities involved KYC, AML, and fraud monitoring. Prior to bunq, Jorrit gained experience as a Compliance Operations Team Lead and Compliance Agent at Vondel Onroerend Goed, as well as in various intern roles at top law firms such as Hogan Lovells and Pels Rijcken. Jorrit holds a Master’s degree in European Law School from the University of Groningen and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, complemented by international academic exposure at Mykolas Romeris University Vilnius.
