Andres Barbaro

Andres Barbaro has extensive work experience in the engineering and software development field. Andres is currently the VP of Engineering at Seeq Corporation, a position they have held since October 2021. Prior to that, they were the VP of Engineering at Tailwind from March 2019 to October 2021, where they played a multifaceted role that involved technical aspects, leadership, coaching, and mentoring.

From December 2013 to March 2019, Barbaro served as the Vice President of Software Engineering at Power Costs, Inc. (PCI). Andres led the Infrastructure and Analytics department and was responsible for managing various product lines. Before that, they held the positions of Senior Director of Software Engineering, Director of Software Engineering, Director of Software Implementation, Product Manager, and Project Engineer at PCI.

Barbaro's career also includes experience as a Quantitative Analyst at PCI from March 2003 to February 2005, where they assisted customers with portfolio optimization and performed statistical analysis in wholesale electricity markets. Prior to that, they worked as a Quantitative Analyst at Williams Company, where they developed financial models for trading and valuation of oil refined products.

Andres Barbaro obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Buenos Aires from 1993 to 1999. Andres then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma from 2000 to 2002.
