Aaron Somoroff is a Quantum Research Scientist at Seeqc, focusing on the testing and development of superconducting circuits for quantum information processing since May 2022. Prior to this role, Aaron served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Joint Quantum Institute from August 2017 to May 2022, under the mentorship of Professor Vladimir E. Earlier experience includes a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, where responsibilities involved leading discussions and labs for introductory physics courses. Aaron has also contributed as an Academic Support Leader with The Bridge Golf Foundation, facilitating STEM education for underrepresented groups, and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The City College of New York, researching two-dimensional electron gases for topological quantum computation. Educational achievements include a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics from The City College of New York and in Economics & Mathematics from Boston University.
