Andrew Blackmore

Andrew Blackmore has a diverse work experience in various technology companies. Their most recent role is as the VP of Software Development, Cloud Services at Seequent, where they lead the development of the Seequent Evo Cloud platform. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Development at Hootsuite, overseeing a global team and providing strategic leadership for the Product Infrastructure portfolio. Andrew also worked as the Director of Engineering at ABSOLUTE. and Simba Technologies, responsible for platform feature development and the core software of the respective companies. Before that, they held managerial positions at Sage, where they worked on the Sage Data Cloud and Sage Cloud services. Andrew started their career as an Engineering Manager at Marconi Plc and later worked at IONA Technologies as a Product Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Andrew Blackmore received a Masters in IT with a focus on Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin in 1995-1996. Prior to that, they earned a Degree in Maths from Trinity College Dublin in 1986-1992. Additionally, Andrew has obtained the certification of Scrum Master Certified from Scrum Alliance.
