Samuel Cantor

Samuel Cantor, MSc, P.Geo has a diverse work experience in the field of geology and software solutions. Samuel is currently working as a Customer Success Lead at Seequent since December 2022. Prior to this, Samuel was a Product Lead at Minerva Intelligence Inc. from December 2017 to December 2022, where they focused on developing software solutions for the mining industry. Samuel also worked as a Project Geologist at Weaver Consultants Group, conducting environmental site assessments and groundwater monitoring from July 2013 to June 2015. Samuel has a background in stable isotopes research, having completed their MSc in Stable Isotopes at The University of British Columbia from September 2015 to December 2019. Samuel also has experience as a Junior Geologic Consultant at Tigren Inc. and as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR). Additionally, Samuel worked as a Surface Geology Intern at Newmont Mining Corporation and as a Lab Technician at Reservoirs Environmental Inc.

Samuel Cantor, MSc, P.Geo has an extensive education history in the field of Geology. Samuel obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geology from the University of Colorado Boulder, graduating between 2007 and 2009. Samuel then pursued further education at the Colorado School of Mines, specializing in Geological/Geophysical Engineering for the academic year 2005-2006. Samuel completed their academic journey by earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Geology from The University of British Columbia. This degree was obtained between the years 2015 and 2019. Additionally, Samuel holds the certification of Professional Geologist from EGBC, which was obtained in the year 2022.
