Pei Huang

Pei Huang has extensive work experience in the field of quality engineering. They started their career in 1999 as an Analytical Chemist in Research & Development at Jafra Cosmetic International. In 2001, they joined Genentech as a QC Associate I, responsible for QC Marketed Products. They then transitioned to the role of QC Associate II, QC Stability in 2004. In 2008, Pei Huang became a Senior Research Associate at Maxygen and later worked as an Associate Scientist and Senior Development Associate at Astellas Pharma/Perseid Therapeutics Inc. From 2013 to 2017, they served as a Sr. QC Associate at Genentech. Pei Huang then moved on to roles as a Quality Engineer at Cepheid from 2017 to 2019, Tecan from 2019 to 2021, and Guardant Health from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are working as a Sr. Design Quality Engineer at Seer. Throughout their career, Pei Huang has gained experience in quality assurance, product development, risk analysis, process validation, and compliance with FDA regulations and ISO standards.

Pei Huang holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from California State University, Northridge. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry from Hunan University. In addition to their formal education, Pei Huang has also obtained several certifications. In April 2022, they completed a certification in Regulatory Affairs from UCSC Silicon Valley Extension. In August 2021, they obtained certifications in "How to Organize Your Time and Your Life" and "Speaking Up At Work" from LinkedIn.
