Satendra Prasad has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Satendra began their career as a Post Doctorate at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from March 2008 to September 2010. Satendra then joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2010 as a Senior Scientist, where they led a deep technical investigation into improving sensitivity bottleneck for flagship quant platform and Proteomics Discovery platform. Satendra conceptualized and implemented innovative devices into the mass analyzers. In 2015, they became a Technical Lead at Thermo Fisher Scientific, leading a team of engineers and scientists on a project that resulted in a novel analytical instrument. Satendra presented and educated field experts on the technology and contributed to significant sales growth for the company. From 2018 to 2021, Satendra Prasad served as a Senior Technical Lead, being selected for the Developing Emerging Leaders Cohort Program and regularly presenting to senior leadership. In 2021, they joined Seer as an Associate Director Project Manager, where they managed operational efficiency and collaborated with cross-functional partners. In 2022, they transitioned to the role of Associate Director Strategic Partnership, where they defined the partner strategy and managed the relationship with technology vendors.
Satendra Prasad pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of the South Pacific, starting in 1998 and completing in 2001. Satendra then went on to obtain a PhD in Chemistry from New Mexico State University between the years 2004 and 2008.
In recent years, Satendra Prasad expanded their educational background by earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Santa Clara University from 2020 to 2022. Their MBA focused on Leading Innovative Teams and Business Analytics.
