Paul Cummins

Paul Cummins has extensive experience in health and social care, community development, and third sector organization management. Currently serving as the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care at Sefton Council since May 2012, Paul also holds a trustee position at SEFTON CVS since 1987. Previous roles include Managing Director of Cummins Training and Consultancy Limited from May 2014 to February 2018 and Managing Director at Sefton Training and Enterprise Projects from August 2009 to April 2014. Paul has significant local government experience, having worked with Knowsley Council and Knowsley MBC between 1990 and 2006 in roles such as Community Safety Manager. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from The Manchester Metropolitan University and a Certificate in Mental Health Care from The University of Manchester.
