Muthoni Thuo-Ngunjiri

Muthoni is a Program Officer based in her hometown of Nairobi, Kenya. She supports Segal’s Kenya partners through Active Partnership and conducting due diligence on potential and current partners.

Muthoni is a jill of all trades with extensive work experience in different fields, including technology, youth empowerment, climate change, and consulting. She has worked on projects centered on climate change mitigation, disaster risk management, entrepreneurship, technology for development, humanitarian relief and job creation for youth. Before joining the foundation, Muthoni worked as a coordinator for Microsoft Philanthropies in Middle East and Africa. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from KCA University. Muthoni is passionate about developing the capacity of youth in Africa to solve their own problems and is obsessed with meeting others working towards the same goal.
