Tai Nguyen

Tai Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as a Software Engineering Manager at Segmed, Inc., starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager at Infinigru VN from November 2021 to November 2022. Tai has expertise as a Chief Technology Officer at GaneshAID from March 2021 to November 2021. Tai also worked as a Principal Investigator at Vietnam-Korean Institute of Science and Techn from August 2019 to February 2021, and as a University Lecturer at French-Speaking Institute of Computer Sciences from June 2019 to December 2020. Tai co-directed Vietnam Digital Economy - AVSE Global from September 2018 to January 2020. Tai worked as a Software Architect at Trasys from April 2014 to June 2019. Tai served as the Director at Hochiminh City Open Data Ecosystem from July 2016 to July 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at FIS Clear2Pay from November 2008 to April 2014, and as a Researcher at ISYS, Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve from November 2007 to November 2008.

Tai Nguyen obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Information Systems from Université catholique de Louvain from 2003 to 2007.

Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, Tai Nguyen completed a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Francophone Institute for Computer Science (IFI) in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Between 1997 and 2001, Tai Nguyen earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the Natural Sciences School at the National University of Hochiminh in Vietnam.

Tai Nguyen completed high school from 1994 to 1997 at the Special Class in Computing, which is part of the Natural Sciences School at the National University of Hochiminh, with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science.

In addition to the formal degrees, Tai Nguyen has obtained several certifications. In 2018, Tai Nguyen obtained the AgilePM® Foundation and AgilePM® Practitioner certifications from APMG International, and also completed a training on Scrum methodology provided by CEFORA Training. In the same year, Tai Nguyen also completed a master class on Project Management from Cevora. In 2017, Tai Nguyen completed a course on Introduction to Enterprise Architecture from Open2Study. Additionally, in 2013, Tai Nguyen completed an Introduction to Project Management course from Cevora.
