Matthew Purt

Matthew Purt has extensive experience in the fashion, sportswear and beauty industries. Matthew began their career in 1998 as a Sales Executive at Ralph Lauren, followed by a Retail Merchandising Manager and then a Polo Ralph Lauren Wholesale Sales Manager. In 2007, they were appointed Director of Brand Strategy EMEA at BMB Clothing Limited, where they were responsible for strategy, wholesale, retail and partner concessions. Matthew then took on a one-year contract as Managing Director UK of SIGG Switzerland Bottles AG in 2008, setting up and launching the UK business and infrastructure. In 2010, they joined eBay as a Senior Manager in Europe and then Head of eBay UK - ACQ MDD. In 2014, they co-founded Anatwine and served on the executive leadership team and operating board, eventually selling the company to Zalando SE in 2018. In 2018, they founded CommerceConsultancy LTD, advising high growth start-ups and pan-global organisations on digital retail, international expansions, SAAS, lead generation and revenue growth. In 2019, they became a Strategic Advisor for NuORDER by Lightspeed, an eCommerce platform, and a Non Executive Director for Segura Systems, a SaaS platform. Matthew also became a Founder for Lifestyle Retail Group (LRG Online Ltd). In 2020, they relaunched Secret Sales as a Founder and Director, transforming it into an online premium fashion, sportswear and beauty marketplace.

Matthew Purt obtained a Business & Technology Education Council Level 3 Extended Diploma from West Herts College - Leggatts Campus between 1993 and 1996, studying Business Administration and Management, General. Matthew also obtained an NVQ Level 3 Distinction from Townsend C of E School between 1989 and 1993, studying Sports Science.
