Russell Bodill

Russell Bodill is an experienced professional in business development and investment management, currently serving as Director at SEI since December 2022, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and enhancing client relationships. Prior to this role, Russell was the Head of Business Development & Director at Thrive Capital, where a new business model for the South African market was established. As the CEO and Founder of Investment Spectrum, oversight of operational activities and the development of differentiated distribution strategies were key achievements. Russell's earlier background includes a significant tenure at Old Mutual Investment Group as Senior Account Executive, where leadership in international distribution and participation on the ESG Investment Committee were prominent. Russell also held the position of Head of Business Development for Africa at SEI from 2005 to 2008, contributing to successful sales campaigns. Academic credentials include a BCom and BCom (Hons) from the University of South Africa.
