Finance

Al Chiaradonna is the Executive Vice President of SEI Global Private Banking and is responsible for the overall launch and delivery of the SEI Wealth Platform. Al is also the author of the blog “Front and Centered,” which provides perspectives on leadership and executive management.

Throughout his career, Al has run businesses ranging from startups to billion-dollar enterprises and has worked on strategy for numerous Fortune 500 companies. At various stages during his tenure with us, he has led every aspect of the Private Banking business, from sales and relationship management to solution development and implementation.

Al has spoken at numerous industry events on topics relating to wealth management industry dynamics, the evolving competitive landscape, utilizing outsourcing as a strategic business tactic, and transforming business models.

Al serves as an adjunct professor at [Villanova University](/org/villanova-university), teaching strategic management for the Executive MBA Program. He also holds advisory roles with the Public Accounting Network Group of Philadelphia and the Executive Business School at Villanova, and he serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.

Al received a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Temple University and a Master of Business Administration from [Harvard Business School](/org/harvard-business-school). Additionally, Al holds a Certified Public Accountant designation.

Albert Chiaradonna

Phil McCabe is Head of SEI’s Investment Manager Services division and an Executive Vice President at SEI. In this role, Phil is responsible for the day-to-day management of providing comprehensive operational outsourcing solutions to traditional asset managers, as well as hedge, private equity, real estate and separate account managers worldwide. Phil serves as the President and board member of the SEI Trust Company. He is also a board member of SEI Institutional Transfer Agency, Inc.

Phil joined in 1989 and has held leadership positions in the Investment Manager Services and Private Banking and Trust divisions, as well as in the SEI Trust Company. His experience spans both application service provider (ASP) and outsourcing business lines with core competencies in operations management, new client implementations, relationship management and product management. Phil most recently served as Head of Operations for SEI’s Investment Manager Services division.

Phil Mccabe

Ryan Hicke is Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the global business strategy and execution for the company across the three pillars of expertise: investments, operations, and technology. He also serves on the Board of Directors. 

Ryan’s 24-year career at SEI includes 11 years in asset management and 13 years in technology across various parts of our business, with his tenure evenly split between U.S. and global experience. Prior to being named CEO, Ryan was Chief Information Officer overseeing the information technology strategy and investment operations for the company. Ryan also previously served as head of our Technology Unit, as well as a Managing Director in our U.K. wealth management business.

Ryan holds a degree in Finance from Saint Joseph’s University. He also serves on the board of directors for the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies.

Ryan Hicke

Sanjay Sharma is Head of Private Banking, responsible for overall strategy and business growth through the delivery of comprehensive technology, operational, and investment solutions for U.S. and U.K. wealth management organizations.

He previously served as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for all of SEI’s platforms and applications IT strategy, execution, and delivery. Sanjay led enterprise architecture, design, development, delivery, global implementations, cloud strategy and execution, DevSecOps, and production operations. He also served as global head of the SEI Wealth PlatformSM technology strategy, execution, and delivery. 

Sanjay has worked in the global financial services industry for more than 25 years, spanning across four continents and 11 countries. Prior to joining SEI, Sanjay ran a successful consulting business and held several key global delivery positions, including head of delivery, Europe for a global ITFS consulting company; head of delivery for ITFS solutions, North America for a global top-10 IT consulting company; and head of implementation, ITFS solutions for a global top-10 IT consulting company. 

Sanjay is currently a member of the Client Advisory Board for Digital for a global top-ten IT consulting firm, board member for the Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technology, Advisory Board member for a large venture capital firm, Advisory Board member for SEI Ventures, a member of the Advisory Board for SEI Diversity and Inclusion, and founding board member of the Racial Justice Institution.

Sanjay has a master’s degree in engineering, specializing in systems engineering, from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India.
