Taru Ylinen-Luopa

Taru Ylinen-Luopa is an experienced educator specializing in history and social sciences, currently teaching at Seinäjoen lukio and Seinäjoen lukion aikuislinja in Seinäjoki since August 2018. Additionally, Taru has been teaching history for Finnish expatriate youth at Etäkoulu Kulkuri since May 2017. As the founder of IDEA Learning Services, Taru provides innovative personal training in education to support students with academic projects. Previous roles include teaching positions in various schools and a founding role at Rivieran Suomi-koulu, which focuses on Finnish language and culture. Taru also has experience as a museum guide in notable museums in Helsinki and Southern Ostrobothnia. Taru holds a Master’s Degree in General History from the University of Helsinki and has studied at the Université Paris-Sorbonne.
