Can Yang

Can Yang is a Geophysicist at Seismic Image Processing (SIP) since February 2012, specializing in rock physics analysis, amplitude variation with offset (AVO), seismic inversion, and integrating machine learning into quantitative interpretation workflows. Prior experience includes a summer internship at RWE Dea in June 2011, focusing on reservoir characterization for an offshore oil field, which involved tasks such as well-to-seismic tie, wedge modeling, attribute extraction, and acoustic inversion. Can Yang earned a PhD in Applied Geophysics with a focus on Seismic from Uppsala University between 2007 and 2011.
