Jordan Anderson has a wealth of experience in scientific research. Jordan began their career in 2007 as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Manetsch Research Group at the University of South Florida, where they synthesized and tested organic compounds against protein targets and was involved in the multi-step synthesis of a diazirine photo label. In 2011, they moved to the University of Washington and worked as a Graduate Student in the Andersen Research Group, designing small stable peptide systems to investigate beta-strand association and stabilizing large unstructured loops. Jordan also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a number of Chemistry recitation and lab courses. In 2018, Anderson moved to Boston Children's Hospital as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. In 2019, they joined the Institute for Protein Innovation as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, and in 2021 they became a Senior Scientist at Seismic Therapeutic.
Jordan Anderson completed their Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry at the University of South Florida from 2006 to 2010. Jordan then went on to the University of Washington to obtain a Master's Degree in Organic Chemistry and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry, both from 2011 to 2017.
