Purvi Mande, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of roles since 2003. Purvi began their career as a Dissertation Student at the National Research Centre for Soyabean (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) in 2003. In 2004, they worked as a Project Associate at the Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (Tata Institute for Fundamental Research). The following year, they worked as a Project Associate at the Advanced Center for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer (Tata Memorial Hospital). From 2006 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Research Fellow/Graduate Student at the National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, University of Mumbai, where they identified novel auto-antigens/biomarkers for diagnosing women with ovarian autoimmunity and infertility. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Scientist Discovery Immunology and Senior Scientist Discovery Immunology at Pandion Therapeutics. In 2021, they took on the role of Translational Research Scientist II at Q32 Bio Inc., and in 2022, they began working as a Principal Scientist at Seismic Therapeutics.
Purvi Mande, Ph.D. has an extensive educational background. Purvi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, INDIA in 2002. Purvi then went on to earn their Master's degree in Biochemistry from the same institution in 2004. In 2006, they completed their PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai (National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health, Indian Council of Medical Research). In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including Drug Discovery from Coursera in 2018, Budgeting and Scheduling Projects and Initiating and Planning Projects from Coursera Course Certificates in 2018, Managing Project Risks and Changes from Coursera Course Certificates in 2018, and Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) - IACUC certification in 2012.
