Laura Morton

Laura Morton has over nine years of experience working with SEIU Healthcare. Laura started as an Organizer in September 2014 and was later promoted to Manager of Internal Organizing in July 2019. Laura then became the Interim Director of the Member Service Centre in March 2021. Currently, Laura holds the position of Director of Home and Community Care, a role they started in January 2022. Prior to working at SEIU Healthcare, Laura worked as a Clerk at Metro Ontario Inc. from September 2002 to March 2015.

Laura Morton completed a Post-Degree Certificate in Human Resource Management at York University from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours degree in Labour Studies from Brock University, which they attended from 2011 to 2014. Their education journey began with a Certificate in Labour Studies from Mohawk College, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010.
