SEIU Local 721
Marquis Bridges is a seasoned labor representative currently with SEIU Local 721 since May 2019, following a five-year tenure as an external organizer for the Service Employees International Union that began in April 2013. With a background in progressive activism, Marquis has contributed to various organizations, including serving as a voting outreach coordinator for Tom Barrett for Wisconsin and as a community organizer for Wisconsin Jobs Now. Earlier roles include organizing positions with SEIU and SEIU Local 21LA, demonstrating a strong commitment to empowering low-wage and immigrant workers. Marquis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Xavier University of Louisiana.
