Monika Talbi

Monika Talbi has over 15 years of experience in various roles within the non-profit sector. Monika began their career in 2006 as the New Americans Initiative Coordinator at the Albany Park Neighborhood Council. From 2009 to 2013, they worked at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, where they served as the New Americans Initiative Field Coordinator and later as the Uniting America AmeriCorps Program Manager. Since 2014, Monika has been with SEIU Local 1, starting as an External Organizer and gradually advancing to Coordinator and currently serving as the Deputy Director of the Commercial Division.

Monika Talbi pursued their education in Political Science and Government at the University of Warsaw from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Master's degree.
