Stress Engineer at Sekisui Aerospace

Richard Bustos has a diverse work experience in the engineering and manufacturing field. Richard started their career at Vaupell as a Manufacturing Operator in September 2017. From December 2017 to November 2019, they worked as a Tooling Technician at Vaupell. Richard then transitioned to the role of a Manufacturing Engineer Technician from November 2019 to March 2020. Richard joined Carlisle Interconnect Technologies as a Tooling Technician in March 2020 and later became a Manufacturing Engineer II in August 2020. Richard worked at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies until December 2021. Currently, Richard is working at SEKISUI Aerospace Corporation, where they started as a Manufacturing Engineer II in December 2021. In April 2022, they transitioned to the role of a Stress Engineer.

Richard Bustos earned their Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering in Composites from the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Loyola University New Orleans from 2013 to 2016.
