Mary McDermott has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Bank Teller at Home Federal Savings and Loan, where they handled daily teller work, cash handling, and opening new accounts. Mary then joined First State Bank Loomis in 2015 as an Accounting Assistant/Customer Service representative. In 2018, Mary worked as a Field Interviewer at NORC at the University of Chicago, collecting data for federal research projects. From 2019 to 2021, they continued their role as a Field Interviewer at Westat - Improving Lives Through Research. Mary also served as a Holdrege City Council member since 2014 and is currently serving their second term. In 2020, they worked as a Community Business Manager at Knudson Management Company.
