Joe Malzone

Joe Malzone is the current Chief Operating Officer at Select Dental Management. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Operations at WellNow Urgent Care from July 2017 to March 2022. Joe was responsible for seamlessly transitioning both emergent and nonemergent healthcare into remote and hybrid theaters through top tier change management and transformational leadership, delivering high value results during the COVID19 pandemic.

Before their time at WellNow Urgent Care, Joe served as the Director of New Office Development at Aspen Dental from January 2011 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for propelling success in partnership with providers and field teams delivering safe and efficient care to patients. Joe was also integral in strategizing systems and processes needed to scale the number of locations while meeting expectations.

Joe began their career as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car in January 2007 before becoming a Payroll Consultant at Vision Payroll in January 2008. In this role, they were responsible for leveraging partnerships and relationships cultivated over their career to bridge the parent company's (ADMI) resources to support WellNow Urgent Care's growth initiatives. Joe was recognized for excellence in full top line performance, EBITDA, employee training/engagement/retention accountability.

Joe Malzone attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in marketing and management.

Their manager is Elliot Zibel, Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Integrations Team - Integrations, Jonathan Mason - Chief Clinical Officer, and Elliot Zibel - Head of Business Development.
