Chris Carey

Chris Carey has extensive work experience in government affairs, regulatory affairs, and policy consulting in the healthcare industry. Chris is currently serving as the Vice President of Government & Regulatory Affairs at Select Medical, where they began in October 2020. Prior to this role, Chris was the Managing Director/CEO of Global Hospital Services LLC, a project management consulting company specializing in healthcare business opportunities. Chris co-founded the company in 2015 and served as CEO until September 2020.

From 2012 to 2017, Chris worked as the Principal at Salus Policy Solutions LLC, a health policy consultancy firm that provided regulatory and reimbursement policy strategies to clients. Chris also held the position of Senior Director of Policy and Reimbursement at Edwards Lifesciences, LLC from 2010 to 2012, where they played a key role in the launch of a new medical therapy.

Chris began their career in the US House of Representatives, serving as a Professional Staff member in the Committee on Ways and Means from 1998 to 2001, and in the Committee on Education and Labor from 1996 to 1998.
