Joanna Couri

Joanna Couri, PMP has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Joanna currently holds the position of Senior Director IS Operational Integration at Select Medical, a role they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director Epic Project Management for the same company from January 2017 to October 2023. Joanna also worked as a Contract Project Manager at Select Medical from October 2015 to November 2016. Before joining Select Medical, they held the position of Project Manager III at PointCore, LLC from June 2014 to October 2015. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as an IT Project Manager at OSF HealthCare from February 2013 to June 2014, and as a 6 Sigma Black Belt/PI Facilitator from May 2011 to February 2013. Joanna started their career as a Service Support Analyst - Physician Support at OSF HealthCare from November 2009 to May 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an Office Manager at Couri Teverbaugh OB/GYN & Associates from July 2008 to October 2009, and as a Front Office Administrator at Associates in Gynecological Surgery and Obstetrics from February 2007 to May 2008. Joanna gained early professional experience as an Intern at the American Hospital Association from October 2006 to January 2007.

Joanna Couri, PMP has a Masters of Public Service Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from DePaul University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Joanna also holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management and Business Administration from Saint Louis University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Joanna has obtained several certifications including EpicCare Inpatient Procedures Orders Certification and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, both obtained in 2013. Joanna also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification obtained in 2011.
