Stephen Clayton

Stephen Clayton has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Stephen was most recently employed at Select Medical as the VP of Revenue Processes and Controls since October 2021. Before that, they served as the VP of Revenue Cycle and Managed Care at Acuity Healthcare from April 2005 to September 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Physician Network CBO at NorthEast Medical Center in 2004. And from 1999 to 2004, they worked as the Director of Patient Financial Services at Health Management Associates, Inc.

Stephen Clayton has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Stephen also holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Specialist Managed Care (CSMC), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), Certified Professional Coder, and Certified Revenue Cycle Representative.
