Dave Simmons

Dave Simmons has over two decades of experience in the heavy machinery and construction industry, currently serving as a Business Development Manager for Tower Cranes at Select Plant Hire since December 2016. Prior to this role, Dave worked as a Contract Lift Manager at Hewden from July 2014 to November 2016, and gained significant hands-on experience as a Heavy Crane Operator, Supervisor, and Appointed Person at Mammoet from March 2008 to July 2014. Earlier in their career, Dave held the position of Crane Operator at Hewden from December 2004 to March 2008 and served as a Supply Chain Manager in the British Army from January 1997 to December 2004. Education was completed at Kings School Pontefract.
