Dan Schilling

Dan Schilling is an experienced professional in the insurance industry, currently serving as the VP of Field Operations at Selective Insurance since May 2017, where responsibilities include leading a team of Agency Management Specialists to support agency partners in business growth. Prior to this role, Dan held various positions at Nationwide Insurance from November 2011 to May 2017, including Senior Agency Management Specialist and Sales Director, managing teams in Tennessee and Virginia to strengthen agency partnerships. Earlier experience includes roles at Allied Insurance and as a claims representative at Nationwide, where Dan developed expertise in underwriting, claims handling, and sales management. Additionally, Dan has an academic background in music, holding a Master's degree in Music Performance from the University of Florida, where Dan also served as an adjunct trumpet instructor.
