The board of directors at Selective Insurance has a long history of experience in the insurance industry. The chairman of the board has previously worked at Protective Life, and the president and CEO has worked at the International Insurance Society. Both the chairman and the president have also served on the steering committee of the Insurance Development Forum. In addition, the board of overseers for the School of Risk Management at St. John's University is also made up of members of the board of directors at Selective Insurance.
