Selective Service System
Ed Medina has extensive experience in human resources and program management, currently serving as the Board Member Program Lead and Senior Program Analyst at the Selective Service System since July 2010, where roles also included Administrative Officer and Program Analyst. Prior to this, Medina worked as a Human Resources Technician in the Civilian Personnel Office of the Department of the Air Force from February 2009 to July 2010. Earlier experiences include roles as a Payroll Specialist at Paychex, an Assistant Director of Admissions at DeVry University, and a Chief Navy Counselor for the U.S. Navy, where Medina served as a Naval Reserve Recruiter and was Recruiter in Charge from September 1983 to September 2005.

Selective Service System

The Selective Service System is charged with providing the Department of Defense trained and untrained personnel in the event of a national emergency. Almost all male citizens and immigrants between the agees of 18-25 must register with the Selective Service. The Selective Service also provides alternative service options for concientious objectors.
