Alexander Seeholzer

Alexander Seeholzer has a diverse work experience, starting as a Full-Stack Web-Developer at TV1 GmbH during their student years. Alexander then transitioned into research roles at EPFL, focusing on neural network models of memory. Following this, they moved into data services and engineering positions at SOPHiA GENETICS, holding various leadership roles. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Data Engineering Lead at both JSR Life Sciences and Selexis SA in 2022. Outside of their professional career, they also held leadership positions at The Catalyst, where they managed productions and marketing for improv shows.

Alexander Seeholzer started their education at Gynasium Erding from 1989 to 2002, where they completed their high school education in Business/Commerce. Alexander then pursued a degree in Mathematics, earning a Diploma Mathematiker from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 2004 to 2011. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Life Sciences from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2011 and 2017.
