Jean-Paul Mergeai

Jean-Paul Mergeai is a seasoned Banking Technology Executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various financial institutions. Currently retired, Jean-Paul most recently served as President EMEA-APAC at Temenos, overseeing operations and strategic initiatives across multiple regions, including the Middle East and Africa. Previous positions at Temenos included Managing Director roles focused on private wealth management solutions and account management across North and South America. Prior to Temenos, Jean-Paul was Managing Director for Odyssey Financial Technologies in North America and held multiple leadership positions at Reuters Ltd, where expertise included trade and risk management. Educational qualifications include an Executive Programme in Management from the University of Michigan and two Master's degrees from the University of Liège in Information Processing and Languages, Linguistics.
