Jennifer Marsh

Jennifer Marsh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in social justice and civil rights advocacy. Currently serving as Executive Staff at Self-Help Credit Union since September 2017, Jennifer focuses on projects aiming to reduce pretrial incarceration, improve immigration bonds, and raise the minimum wage in North Carolina. Jennifer's previous roles include Director of Research, Community Services & Student Programs at the UNC Center for Civil Rights, where responsibilities included managing operations and research grants, and Chair & Member of the Orange County Board of Equalization and Review, overseeing taxpayer assessment appeals. Jennifer has held leadership positions at NC NAACP, Disability Rights North Carolina, and Michigan State University, demonstrating a strong commitment to advocating for vulnerable populations and enhancing community engagement. Jennifer holds a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
