Brian Vitone

Brian Vitone is the Chief Compliance Officer at Self Financial, Inc. Brian has been with the company since April 2017 and reports directly to the CEO. In their role, they are responsible for building and optimizing organizational processes, scaling infrastructure and synchronizing cross-functional teams in order to maximize business results, while keeping the company compliant.

Prior to joining Self Financial, Brian was with Deutsche Bank from October 2013 to March 2017 where they served as VP - Finance/Operations. In this role, they were responsible for forecasting, controlling, accounting, investor relations and due diligence.

Before their time at Deutsche Bank, Brian was with Self Financial, Inc. from April 2017 to January 2020 where they served as VP Operations & Compliance + BSA Officer. In this role, they were an executive team member that reported directly to the CEO. Brian managed the operations, finance customer success and compliance teams and was responsible for building and optimizing organizational processes, scaling infrastructure and synchronizing cross-functional teams in order to maximize business results, while keeping the company compliant.

Brian has a wealth of experience in compliance, human capital management, process optimization, bank partner integration and relationship management, project management, due diligence, vendor relationship management, product management, financial operations, internal and external audit, credit reporting, training and development, loan servicing, risk and fraud management, SOC reporting and PCI compliance. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Rutgers University.

Brian Vitone received a BS in Business Economics from Pace University. Brian is certified by the American Bankers Association as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and by ACAMS as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Brian is also certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) as a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Brian Vitone reports to James Garvey, CEO & Founder. They are on a team with Brett Billick - Chief Marketing Officer, Timothy Kurtz - Director of User Acquisition, and Adam Chibib - Chief Financial Officer. A direct report to Brian Vitone is and Jorge Vivanco - Compliance Manager.
