Katrin Bermbach has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Katrin founded Selfapy in 2015, which provides online therapy programs for mental disorders. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Assistant and Intern at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin from 2014 to 2016. Katrin also gained experience as an Intern at NeMUP Forschungsverbund, a Research Intern at Bibliographisches Institut & F.a. Brockhaus AG, and a Praktikant at Charité.

Katrin Bermbach received their Bachelor's degree in psychology from Chatham University between 2010 and 2012. Katrin further pursued their education at the MSB Medical School Berlin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in psychology from 2012 to 2015. Following this, Katrin attended the IPU Berlin - International Psychoanalytic University Berlin from 2015 to 2017, during which they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology.
