Roberto Perez

Roberto Perez has over 20 years of professional work experience. Roberto began their career in 2002 as a Fire Direction Controller for the United States Marine Corps. In 2008, they joined G4S Risk Management as a Force Protection Specialist. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an Operations Manager for Universal Services of America. Roberto then transitioned to Allied Universal as a Client Manager from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, they founded Brevity Is, a web development firm providing web design and consulting services. Most recently, in 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer for Selfbook.

Roberto Perez is currently enrolled in UC San Diego Extended Studies' Web Development Bootcamp, a program focused on Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design. Prior to this, they attended San Diego Mesa College from 2010 to 2014, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS in Physics. Roberto also attended Mar Vista High School from 1999 to 2002. In addition, Roberto has obtained a number of certifications from LinkedIn, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Coursera, including an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect, and Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design.
