Rashad Merhi

Rashad Merhi has held a variety of positions in the finance and operations sector since 2008. Rashad began their career as a Tax Accountant at Tarrabain Accounting in 2008, then moved to Warehouse Supervisor at Russell Food Equipment Ltd. in 2009. In 2010, they were hired as a Sales Supervisor at Best Buy Canada, followed by Manager on Duty at Freedom Mobile in 2013. In 2016, Merhi became an International Accountant & Business Analyst at MedSleep. Rashad was then hired as Finance Director at Confidential in 2019, and Chief Executive Officer at MERCO in 2021. Most recently, Merhi has been appointed Head of Finance & Operations at SelfDecode.

Rashad Merhi obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in 2016, having studied Accounting from 2012 to 2016. In 2018, they completed the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 at PwC Academy, studying Finance and General.
