Barbara Zubiria

Barbara Zubiria has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Barbara currently serves as the Global CFO at Selina since 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the CFO at HAYA Real Estate from 2015 to 2021. Earlier in their career, they held the position of EVP, Capital Markets & IR at Abengoa from 2011 to 2015, and Chief Accounting Officer & Head of Investor Relations at Telvent in Madrid, Spain from 2005 to 2011. Barbara also gained valuable experience at Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen in various financial roles. Barbara started their career as a Staff Accountant at KPMG LLP.

Barbara Zubiria completed an executive management development program in business at IESE Business School in 2007. Prior to this, they obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Auditing from Florida International University - College of Business in 1999. Their undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on accounting and international business, also from Florida International University, which they earned between 1993 and 1997.
