João Dantas

João Dantas has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. João most recently worked as the Regional People Director - South America at Selina starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of People & HR Operations Regional Sr Manager - LATAM at Alphanumeric Systems from May 2021 to November 2021.

Before joining Alphanumeric Systems, João worked at Gi Group as the Head of HR - Brazil from May 2018 to January 2021. In this role, they led a team of 30 people and was responsible for various HR functions, including restructuring the HR department, implementing training programs, and reorganizing the benefits package.

Prior to Gi Group, João worked at TTi Global as the Country HR Manager - Brazil from August 2016 to February 2018. João also had a role as an HR Project Manager from August 2015 to January 2017. At TTi Global, they were involved in implementing HR systems, managing payroll, and developing communication channels.

Before joining TTi Global, João worked at GOL Linhas Aéreas from October 2011 to July 2015. João held the position of Quality and Continuous Improvement Coordinator and later as a Quality and Training Coordinator. In these roles, they were responsible for managing quality programs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and overseeing training initiatives.

João's career began at Grupo Boi&Cia, where they worked as a Human Resources Manager from January 2009 to January 2011. João was responsible for implementing HR processes, conducting training programs, and monitoring the organizational climate.

Earlier in their career, João worked at Contax S.A. in various roles, including Learning and Development Analyst, Learning and Development Assistant, Corporate Trainer, and Customer Service Center Supervisor.

João Dantas completed a postgraduate degree in Human Resources and Leadership at BSP - Business School São Paulo from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Business Administration from Estácio, which they completed between 2002 and 2010. In addition, they hold a certification as a Registered Coordinator from COPC Inc.
