Darin Hughes

Darin Hughes has worked in various roles in the food industry since 1996. Darin began their career as a Grocery Buyer at Food Lion, where they were responsible for the implementation of inventory controls and maintenance of inventory for 9 distribution centers. In 1998, they became a Sales Representative at PYA/Monarch, where they were responsible for maintaining successful sales and service management of food service products, equipment and chemicals for restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities and daycares. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Senior Operations Manager at The Budd Group, where they managed daily janitorial and landscaping business for over 50 locations throughout the Charlotte metro area. From 2017 to 2020, they were an Account Executive at Affinity Group Paramount, where they represented over 50 manufacturers in all aspects of sales and service management. Currently, they are a Business Manager at Acosta and SellEthics Marketing Group.

Darin Hughes attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1985 to 1990, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Darin also attended Central Piedmont Community College, but did not receive a degree. Darin studied Business while there.
