Viral Patel

Viral Patel is a Product Manager who has led and aided in the development of an API conflict resolution pipeline between all COVID lab centers and contact tracing entities for New Jersey. Viral has also managed several products under a $49.7 million healthcare quality transformation grant resulting in combined revenue of $2 million and client cost savings of over $450 million.

Patel has directed a team of 15 developers under strict timelines to successfully define and build products for various Medicare and Medicaid service programs designed to improve health care organizations. Viral has also owned the product "Measures Manager" roadmap for New Jersey Health Information Network (NJHIN), defining overall strategy, team goals, and success metrics. In addition to management of the team and accounting for overall delivery, Patel has solely developed validation scripts and implemented process automation steps, in Python and Flask, to decrease onboarding time by more than 50%.

Viral Patel has a Master of Science in Data Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Rutgers University.
