Julianna Maniscalco

Julianna Maniscalco is an experienced Field Application Scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and software engineering. Currently employed at Semaphore Solutions since November 2021, Julianna previously held roles at Illumina from February 2017 to November 2021, including Senior Field Applications Scientist and Field Applications Scientist 2 - Enterprise Informatics. Julianna began their career at the New York Genome Center, where responsibilities included quality control and quantification for DNA and RNA sequencing. Earlier experience includes research at Wagner College's Neuroimmunology Laboratory, medical assistance at Comprehensive Pediatrics, and various positions with United Activities Unlimited. Julianna holds a Master's degree in Microbiology and a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, both from Wagner College.
