Vickrem Vijayan

Vickrem Vijayan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as COO (Singapore) and Head of Regional Origination at Sembcorp Industries Ltd since August 2018. In this role, Vickrem oversees financial performance in trading and sales across gas, power, energy storage, and utilities, while leading initiatives in low carbon energy, including power imports and sustainable generation strategies. Previously, Vickrem held the position of Vice President for Gas & Power, successfully expanding Sembcorp Singapore's gas business and securing crucial licenses. Vickrem's career began in the Singapore Armed Forces and includes significant roles at the Singapore Economic Development Board, where expertise in energy policy and management was developed. Vickrem holds an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
