Brett Moraski

Brett Moraski is a healthcare private equity specialist and ‘hands-on’ portfolio manager. He has a successful track record of executing strategic “buy and build” and platform investments. Brett has extensive strategic investment experience both as an advisor and investor.

Brett was previously an Operating Partner at Frazier Healthcare, a leading provider of growth capital to healthcare companies, where he advised on identifying, evaluating and acquiring platforms in a variety of healthcare sectors. Brett is an expert in multiple healthcare services and HIT areas and has significant experience as a senior executive and strategic investor with several of the nation’s leading health plans and related health-tech companies. Whilst at Frazier, Brett also serves as Chief Strategy Officer for Matrix Medical Network, where he led Matrix’s M&A and strategic investing activities.

Previously, Brett was a senior operating advisor and operating partner at LLR Partners, a leading growth equity investor, focused on healthcare investments and Corporate Vice President of Transformation at WellPoint (now Anthem), a Fortune 50 health insurance company, where he led the company’s strategic investing unit. Earlier, he led Corporate Strategy and Innovation at WellPoint and was responsible for leading WellPoint’s enterprise strategic planning activities and its corporate innovation activities.

​Prior to joining WellPoint, Brett was Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, where he managed the company’s Highmark Health Ventures portfolio and was responsible for enterprise-wide strategy, innovation, and corporate development activities. He has previously served as a board director of Eye Care Centers of America, Davis Vision, Viva Optique, Gateway Health Plan, HM Insurance Group, Inter-County Health Plan, Linkwell Health, NaviNet, SoloHealth, United Concordia Dental, and other healthcare service and technology companies.

Brett attended the University of Notre Dame where he earned his B.A. and Harvard Business School for his M.B.A. He currently sits on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.
