Chris D. Jackson

Chris Jackson is a Managing Partner and Head of North American Alternative Investments at SEMCAP, focused within the business development and investor relations team across all of SEMCAP’s investment verticals/strategies.

Prior to this, Chris was a Managing Director and senior member of the business development team at Strategic Value Partners (“SVP Global”), a credit-focused investment management firm, during which SVP Global enjoyed growth in assets under management from $5 billion to over $17 billion.

Prior to SVP Global, Chris was a Managing Director at Probitas Partners, where he managed the New York City office and raised assets for a variety of strategies, including private equity, credit, real assets as well as hedge funds. Before joining Probitas, Chris was a Partner and the Head of Alternative Investments at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn as well as a Co-Founder and the Chief Investment Officer of MidAm Private Trust, N.A. He has served on the Boards of numerous private companies, as well as served for many years as a Board Member of Harlem/Democracy Prep Charter School.

Chris attended Washington & Lee University, where he earned his B.A. Degree in Philosophy.
